Construction Laborer

  • Experience Required: 1 to 2 Years
  • Must be able to pass physical & functional test as well as drug test.
  • CDL license
  • IMSA work zone level 1
  • IMSA work zone safety

Staff Accountant

Job Summary:

The Staff Accountant will assist the Controller with the accounting operations of the company.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Prepares the periodic financial reports and analysis; ensures that the reported results comply with generally accepted accounting principles or international financial reporting standards.
  • Preparation of monthly WIP schedules and documentation of project performance, including change orders, material, and labor variances.
  • Preparation of reviews on competed jobs identifying areas of both success and improvement on a monthly basis.
  • Assists in the preparation of the annual budget and forecasts; reports significant budget differences to management.
  • Provides financial analysis, with respect to capital investments, pricing decisions, and contract negotiations as required.
  • Works with Controller to provide information needed by the external auditors.
  • Completes annual internal control scorecard for review by Controller and CFO.
  • Assists with ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal government requirements.
  • Takes an active role in ERP implementations and integration of acquisitions.
Required Skills/Abilities:
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
  • Proficient in accounting and tax preparation software, particularly Viewpoint Spectrum
Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Business Administration required.
  • Five years or more of related experience required.
  • Certified Public Accountant or Certified Management Accountant designation required.

Payroll Assistant


The Payroll Assistant will assist with the payroll processing operations of the company.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Assisting with processing of weekly payroll for 250+ employees (multi-state)
  • Ensuring up to date job codes are maintained in the time capture/payroll system
  • Helping report certified payroll and providing necessary documentation to government entities
  • Correcting paycheck errors timely, if required
  • Communicating with project managers, field employees, and other departments as necessary
  • Working daily in the office in a team-oriented environment (no remote work available)
  • Assisting as needed with an upcoming software conversion
  • Assist in the integration of new acquisitions with respect to payroll processing

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Microsoft Office experience required (Word, Outlook, Excel)
  • Must be able to maintain confidentiality at all times
  • Must be organized and able to meet deadlines
  • Enjoy helping people and problem solving
  • Flexibility and willingness to learn multiple software platforms
  • Ability to effectively communicate via email or telephone

Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma required
  • Some college preferred
  • Some payroll experience preferred particularly with ADP
  • Davis Bacon wage experience helpful but not required

Compensation:

This is an hourly position paying $19.00 to $21.00 per hour depending on experience. The following benefits are included after successfully completing a trial period:
